(I wrote this poem, during high school, and eventually used it as the lyrics for this song. It's a metaphor.)

Valleys flood. Keep your head above the water.
This album started as an attempt to write short and catchy songs I could play by myself, with my loop pedal, while living on Cape Cod in 2005. I finished the original versions of all these songs, except one, in 2007. After moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 2014, I wrote Miracle, which reminded me of how fulfilling it was to write and play these songs. So, I polished up Miracle, and re-recorded my favorite songs I wrote from that time.
This album is dedicated to The Provost Family and The Garcia Family.
All lyrics and music written, performed, recorded, and mixed by The Languid Current from 2005-2017, in West Harwich, Massachusetts, and Phoenix, Arizona.
Additional vocals on Track 3 by The Provost Family.
Album mastered by Ryan Stack at Format Audio in September 2017.
Album art layout by Joshua Provost and The Languid Current.
